Your Own Company Profile: Your Data Hub

Keeping your company data in one place, current for your customers

Your customers need reliable information about every company they source from: who you are, where you produce, which registration numbers and IDs you hold, how much you can produce, and how you perform on environmental and social topics. They use it to check that their supply chain meets their compliance requirements. Your company profile is where you keep this information once in Retraced, instead of sending it again by email or spreadsheet for every request. Once it is complete and current, your customers find your data directly in Retraced, and your questionnaires can be pre-filled from it.

Your company profile is the foundation of your Retraced account. The General Information and ESG Information tabs hold the facts about your company; the Certifications, Audits and Documents tabs on the same profile hold the proof behind those facts. Questionnaires draw on this data, and your answers can be synced back into it, so each request adds to the same profile instead of starting from scratch. Your colleagues can work on the profile with you, and every change is recorded with who made it and where it came from.

Accessing and managing your company profile

Open your company profile. Click your company name in the top-right corner of the platform, then click Company profile under your company name.

The dashboard with the account menu opened from your company name in the top-right corner, and the Company profile link under your company name

Your profile opens on the General Information tab. At the top you see your company name, country and facility processes, when the profile was last updated, and View Profile History.

Your company profile header: your company name in the top-right corner is where you open the profile; below it the company name, country, facility process, last update and View Profile History, then the tabs General Information, ESG Information, Risk Profile, Certifications, Audits, Documents and CAPA

See what is missing. Profile Completion shows how many fields are filled, for example 36 of 62. Below it, the categories (About, Other IDs, Operational Metrics) each show how many of their fields are filled. Click a category to jump to it, or type in Search data field or category to find a field directly. Same applies for the ESG tab.

The General Information tab: the Search data field or category box, Profile Completion showing 56% (36 of 62 fields filled), and the categories About 20/29, Other IDs 8/12 and Operational Metrics 8/21, next to the About fields

Fill in and correct your data. Click any value to edit it, or click + Assign next to an empty field to add one. You don't have to type everything by hand:

  • From a questionnaire: answers you give in your customer's questionnaire can be synced to your profile with Sync profile data. ADD LINK

  • From SLCP: if you have a verified SLCP assessment, sync its data into your profile; synced values get a green verified tag. ADD LINK

A few things you'll notice on the profile:

  • A GLOBAL label next to a field means it is a global data point: it can only be changed by you.

  • The Risk Profile and CAPA tabs are only relevant/show if you are subscribed to the Risk management feature and/or are assigned to CAPAs by your client.

What to do next?

Or you may have received a questionnaire from your client? While completing it, you can sync your answers to your company profile and by that keep it current at the same time!
