How to access the rejected certificate?
If your certificate claim is rejected, you’re notified in two ways:
By email
With a task in your notifications (bell icon in the top bar)
Click Review in the email or in the notification to open the rejected certificate. You can also find it under Vendor Compliance → Certifications, or on the Certifications tab of your company profile.
Why has the certificate been rejected?
A certificate claim can be rejected for several reasons:
The certificate details you entered, such as the scope or license number, issue or expiration date, company name or issuing body, don’t match the attached certificate.
The attached file doesn’t relate to the selected standard.
The certificate has already been claimed.
The file is an audit report, for example BSCI or SEDEX, and should be uploaded under Audits instead.
The file isn’t the official certificate, but a confirmation letter or a related document.
The file is broken and can’t be opened.
Where to find the reason for rejection?
When we reject a claim, we always explain why in the Comments panel on the right of the certificate page.
What to do next?
Correct the information directly on the certificate page: hover over a value and click the pencil icon.
If you’d like to explain something to us, add a comment in the Comments panel.
Once everything is correct, click Submit for Review in the certificate header to send the claim back to us.
Can’t change a detail? Some details, such as the company name or the certificate type, can’t be edited. In that case, archive the incorrect certificate and upload it again with the right details. See Manage certificates for how to archive a certificate.
