Have you received a collaboration request from your client? This article explains how to respond to such a request.
Step 1 - Accessing a supply chain mapping request
Click the "View" button of the respective supply chain.
Confirm the mapping request message of your client by clicking "Next".
Name the supply chain and click "Start mapping". This means that you are accepting the collaboration request.
Step 2 - Mapping a supply chain further
There are two options to continue mapping your client's supply chain - either by linking new companies (Option 1) or by pasting an existing supply chain (Option 2).
Both options are available via the blue "+" icon in your company node. Note that for linking companies, make sure that your lower tier suppliers are part of your network. In addition, to be able to paste a supply chain, at least one must be mapped prior.
Option 1 - Linking companies
(Multi)select all companies that shall be added to the company node by ticking the box left of the company name. Then, confirm by clicking "Continue" in bottom right corner.
Next, confirm the facility process for the selected companies. Note that multiple facility processes are possible and can be chosen from the dropdown. Confirm by clicking "Map" in the bottom right corner.
Option 2 - Pasting existing supply chain
Remember that this option requires you to have created at least one supply chain prior. To create a supply chain from scratch click the "+ add supply chain" button and follow the instructions.
The created supply chain can now be selected from the dropdown. If you would like to paste only the connected nodes into your supply chain, turn on the toggle. If kept toggled off, the root node of the pasted supply chain will be added. Lastly, click "Paste".
Now your supply chain has been mapped further. You can continue to do so yourself following the above approach or you can invite your suppliers to collaborate. For the latter, check out this guide.
