Check out the dedicated Insights tab for more details for all mapped supply chains, highlighting the relationships between supply chain actors, as well as overviews of mapped and collaborating suppliers.
Those insights are divided further into three separate tabs. A deep dive into those is given in the next section(s).
Global Diagram
This tab visualizes all mapped supply chains in one diagram. It provides a comprehensive, visual representation of the interconnectedness between different supply chains, helping to identify key relationships, dependencies, and potential risks or opportunities across the entire network. It enables better coordination, decision-making, and optimization by showing how supply chain actors interact within a broader context.
Use the filter function to find a certain supply chain actor and identify who mapped them (= green arrow) and whom they mapped (= blue arrow). In general, the more arrows go to and from a mapped supply chain actor, the higher their relevance.
Alternatively, click on any supply chain actor in the overall diagram to see their relationship to others. Feel free to zoom in/out to explore the whole diagram and re-locate nodes according to your preference. For this, simply click a node, hold and move it.
Mapped Companies
This tab provides a centralized, organized view of all suppliers involved in the supply chain, making it easier to track, manage, and analyze supplier involvement and relationships. It serves as an alternative visualization of the global diagram and also helps in identifying key suppliers (see supply chains and mapped by columns) and monitoring their relationship to your own company (see connection type column).
You can narrow down your scope of insights by filtering based on company, country, and supply chain.
Via the view button, a right side window unfolds displaying additional information about which companies the respective company has mapped.
Collaborator Companies
This tab provides a centralized, organized view of all supply chain actors that have
contributed to the further mapping of your supply chain(s). With such an overview, your are able to acknowledge and track companies that have played a role in expanding or refining your supply chain network.
It helps to monitor the progression of mapping efforts, and recognize collaborative efforts (see # supply chains and # added suppliers column), ensuring accountability in the supply chain mapping process.
