How to access a request?
You can either access the request via the notifications or directly via the left navigation bar. Choose the "Traceability" tab and select "Supply Chain Mapping". Finally, the "Company" tab lists all cascade mapping requests which your company has been invited to for collaboration.
How to respond to a cascade mapping request?
Click the View button of the respective supply chain.
Confirm the information box by clicking "Get started".
Click the blue plus button on any company node you would like to expand.
There are various option to expand the supply chain. You can choose between (1) Link companies and (2) Paste existing supply chain. Additionally, you can update the facility process.
Here are important remarks:
For linking companies: Before selecting companies, make sure that all your downstream suppliers are added to your network first.
For pasting existing supply chain: Before selecting a supply chain that you have created, make sure that you have created the supply chain in the company tab (not product tab!) first.
Depending which option you choose, continue at step 5 (for linking companies) or step 6 (for pasting existing supply chain).
(Multi)select all companies that shall be added to the company node.
After clicking "Continue", confirm the facility process for the selected companies. Note that multiple facility processes are possible and can be chosen from the dropdown. Once done, tick those companies that shall be mapped finally and confirm by clicking the Map button.
The map can now be expanded by clicking the grey icon containing the number of added companies. Then, you will be able to see the selected companies that have been chosen previously.
Select the respective supply chain from the dropdown and confirm by clicking the Paste button.
How to invite (more) collaborators?
After you have expanded the supply chain, you may want to invite those mapped companies to the same supply chain as well so that further mapping can take place. For this, click the dedicated "+ Invite collaborators" button in the upper right corner of the supply chain map.
Select all companies which you would like to collaborate and continue by clicking "Next". Before sending out the request, feel free to add a personal message or further instructions or information on what they need to do/provide as part of the invitation.
