Archiving and unarchiving components

Remove components you no longer use from your list, and unarchive them when you need them again.

Archiving removes components you no longer use from your active list. Nothing is deleted, and you can restore them at any time.

How it works

Components follow a hierarchy: Component → Variant → SKU.

  • If you archive a component or a variant, everything below it is archived too.

  • If you archive a SKU, only that SKU is archived.

  • You can’t unarchive a variant or SKU while its parent is still archived. Unarchive the parent first.

How to archive components

  1. Go to Products → My Components and open the Components, Component variants or Component SKUs tab.

  2. Tick the items you want to archive.

  3. Click Archive selected in the bar above the table and confirm.

How to unarchive components

  1. Go to Products → My Components and switch to Archive in the top right corner.

  2. Tick the items you want to unarchive.

  3. Click Unarchive selected in the bar above the table.

  4. If you’re unarchiving a component, tick Also unarchive child variants and SKUs to unarchive everything below it, or leave it unticked to unarchive only the component. Click Unarchive to confirm.
