To make supply chain mapping a collaborative effort, you can invite your supplier for collaboration. However, note that only companies that have active users can be invited as collaborators. You can easily identify such case by looking at a node that has a "hand shake" icon (= invite as a collaborator) enabled.
Adding collaborators (1by1)
Click the "hand shake" icon.
Before sending out the request, add a personalized message or further instructions or information on what the collaborator needs to do/provide as part of the invitation. Once done, click "Send invitation".
Adding collaborators (in bulk)
To save time, bulk inviting collaborators is possible via "X collaborators" in the top menu. Then, click "Invite collaborators" and select all companies that should be invited to collaborate. Remember that only companies are eligible for collaboration if there are active users and if those are not collaborators yet.
Collaboration status types
Once the invitation for collaboration has been sent out, the status of the changes to a blue clock (= invited to collaborate) meaning your supplier has not accepted your request yet.
Once your supplier has accepted your collaboration invitation, the clock turns into a green hand shake icon (= collaborator).
