Upload certifications

Manage and keep an overview of your certifications (awarded to your company as well as your network), all in one place.

Updated over a week ago

Only the connected companies in your network can see your certificates, and the other way round, you can only see the certifications of your supplier network.

Specifically for transaction certificates, there are a couple of things to be considered. Check out this dedicated guide for the upload of such certificate type.

1. How to upload new certifications on company level?

  1. Go to the 'Certifications' tab in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the '+' button (= "create new claim").

  3. Under the select standard tab, you can choose the company for which the certificate is awarded from the drop-down menu.

Note that the claiming company must be the company mentioned in the certificate (either as the certificate holder or as the facility that is covered by the certificate as stated in the appendix of the certificate).

  4. The next step is to select the certification from the drop-down menu. Here, you are able to choose between scope, transaction, company, and product certificates. Learn more about certificates type here.

    Important to know:

    • There are over 100 different types of certifications and standards on the Retraced platform. If you'd like to upload one that isn't already there, please fill out this form.

    • Make sure that you choose the correct certificate type (for example: Scope or transaction certificate) and standard (for example: ISO9001 or ISO9001:2015).

    • Note that audit reports are NOT certificates.

  5. Click on the 'Continue' button.

  6. You can now attach the certificate file by either pulling it into the field or by browsing through your computer database. Please be aware: that the maximum size of the file is 100MB.

  7. Click on the 'Continue' button.

  8. The last step is to input the certification details. Fill out all applicable fields that you can retrieve from the certificate, including the document and license number, issue and expiration date, and details of the issuing body (e.g. Control Union, Intertek, TÜV, Elevate, etc.).

    Important to know:

    • The document number can be the scope/certificate number. For Oeko-Tex Standard 100, it is the test report number.

    • The license number is not the Textile Exchange ID. For Oeko-Tex Standard 100, it is the number below the QR code. If not available, use "N/A" for the license number.

  9. Click on the 'Request' button for us to review it for approval. We do this manually to ensure information is correct and meets the requirements for it to be shown to end consumers.

  10. Once approved, all your network certificates will be visible under the 'Certifications' tab in the navigation bar, while your own company certificates can also be viewed in your company profile under the 'Certifications' tab.

2. How to upload certifications on product level?

  1. Go to the 'Certifications' tab in the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the '+' button (= "create new claim").

  3. Under the select standard tab, you can choose the company for which the certificate is awarded from the drop-down menu.

  4. The next step is to select the certification from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click on the 'Continue' button.

  6. Now you can attach the certificate file by either pulling it into the field or by browsing through your computer database. Please be aware: that the maximum size of the file is 100MB.

  7. Then fill out all applicable fields that you can retrieve from the certificate, including the document and license number, issue and expiration date, and details of the issuing body (e.g. Control Union, Intertek, TÜV, Elevate, etc.).

For Oeko Tex Standard 100: The document number is the report number, while the license number and the issuing body are placed below the QR code within the certificate.

  8. Lastly, choose the products that are covered by that certificate by ticking the box next to it. Note that product linking is optional and can be skipped by clicking "Link & Request".

  9. Click 'Link & Request'. Note, that all certificates go through a review process by us meaning that the status of the certificate after submission is 'In review'. After review, the status will change to 'Approved' or 'Rejected'.
