This article explains which notifications are issued to which users at which time from the retraced CAPA feature.
Do I get real-time email notifications from CAPA?
As we want every company that is added to a CAP, CA or PA to know about this, we have implemented an email notification for this action. The responsible company as well as collaborators receive those as soon as the creator created the action in which they are added.
Do I see CAPA notifications in the platform?
In addition to the email notifications, we also show the same CAPA notifications you can add to your summaries in our activity center or "Active Tasks".
What is the watcher status on an action?
With CAPA we introduce a watcher status. Users can add themselves as watchers to an action and get updates about them. They would see them in the activity feed and if the according updated is part of their summary also via email.
Users that are assigned as reporter and assignee are automatically added as watcher. If they do not want that they can always remove themselves.
If the reporter or assignee was part of a collaborator company and this collaborator is removed from the action, the users also get removed from the watcher list.
