Testing Your Amfori BSCI Integration

Once your Amfori BSCI integration is set up, a short testing phase confirms everything is working and improves the accuracy of your supplier network going forward.

Why test before going live

  • High-quality, verified audit data — Once confirmed, every finalized Amfori BSCI audit flows directly into Retraced (scores, findings, zero-tolerance flags) with no manual steps.

  • A better supplier network — Testing surfaces gaps and mismatches between your Amfori facility list and your Retraced network. Fixing these permanently improves your data accuracy, not just the integration.

  • Faster access to risk data — The sooner testing is complete, the sooner your team sees audit results the moment Amfori publishes them, so you can act on findings and compliance risk without delay.

Step 1: Connect & sync

  1. Go to your profile and open the Integrations section.

  2. Enter your Amfori ID and API key, then save.

  3. Once connected, trigger a manual data sync — don't wait for the automatic weekly run.

  4. A sync report is generated once the sync finishes.

Step 2: Review & confirm matches

  1. Open the sync report and check the OK tab. These are suppliers Retraced matched automatically by Amfori ID or name — confirm the matches look correct.

  2. Work through the Warnings tab: connect each unmatched facility to an existing supplier profile, or create a new one if it genuinely doesn't exist yet in Retraced.

For a breakdown of what each warning type means and whether it needs action, see Understanding Amfori Sync Warnings.

Step 3: Explore synced audits

Once matching is complete, browse the audits now live in Retraced:

  • Review findings, scores, and zero-tolerance flags for your suppliers.

  • This data now feeds your CAPA and risk workflows going forward.

Article 2: Understanding Amfori Sync Warnings

Not every warning generated during an Amfori sync needs action. Use this reference to understand what each one means and what, if anything, to do.

Note: Warnings can't be manually dismissed — they disappear automatically once the underlying issue is resolved. Warnings that don't apply to you can safely be left open.

Warning

What it means

What to do

Site ID not found in Amfori

The Site ID exists in Retraced but can't be found in the Amfori network. The issue originates from the Amfori API.

Contact Amfori IT support with the Site ID. Once corrected at source, the warning resolves on the next sync — no action needed in Retraced.

Supplier name mismatch

Retraced found a likely match, but name differences (abbreviations, word order, spelling) prevented automatic confirmation.

Click Add supplier, search your Retraced network by name, select the correct profile, and link it to the Amfori Site ID. Run a manual sync — the warning won't reappear.

Supplier in Amfori, not in Retraced

The supplier is part of your Amfori network but has no profile in Retraced yet.

If you work with this supplier, create a new profile in Retraced and link it to the Amfori Site ID. If not, no action needed.

Supplier outside your network

This supplier exists on the Amfori platform but isn't part of your Retraced network — shown as a potential addition.

Add them if you have an active business relationship. Otherwise, no action needed.

Former supplier relationship

Amfori retains historical data after a relationship ends. This supplier was once connected but is no longer active.

No action required.

Renamed supplier: duplicate entry

A supplier changed their name and now has two Amfori entries. The warning references the old name, which no longer matches any active profile.

Link manually to the existing profile under the current name. The warning won't reappear once linked.
