Navigating through the Entity Screening feature

Updated today

Getting started

👉 Entity Screening is a paid subscription feature. If you'd like access to it, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

If you have Entity Screening enabled, you can access it through the Traceability tab in the left navigation bar under Entity Screening.

Navigating through the Entity Screening table

If all companies from your traced orders and mapped supply chains have been screened and no (potential) matches are found on external entity lists, the overview table will display "No potential matches identified yet" and appear empty.

If potential matches exist, you will see a list of all screened companies involved in your orders and mapped supply chains. This allows you to easily review their details, check their screening status, and take further action if needed.

For each potential match identified, the table shows:

  • Entity name (name of company on the list)

  • Company name

  • Status

  • Match percentage

  • Orders involved

  • Supply chains involved

  • Entity list type (private/public)

  • Effective date

  • Facility process(es)

  • Country

  • Connection type (with the option to connect to the supplier if not yet connected)

  • Actions (dismiss/flag)

You can use the quick filter options found above the table to refine the list by "To review", "Dismissed" and "Flagged" or use the regular filter for entity name, company name, facility process and country.

Columns can also be sorted, for example alphabetically by company name, country and entity name or ascending/descending by matching percentage supply chain/order count.

You can reorder or hide/show columns via the Settings button, found at the top right side of the table.

Accessing Entity Screening via Supply Chains or Orders

The centralized Entity Screening table is also accessible directly from traced orders and mapped supply chains.

If a potential entity match is found, the respective supplier node within the supply chain/traced order is flagged with a warning icon.

In Supply Chain Mapping:

In Tracing:

Clicking the warning icon takes you directly to the Entity Screening table.

More information on the warning icon functionality below.

Reviewing screening results

After screening, companies matched with an entity list appear in the list and can be flagged or dismissed in the “actions” column on the very right of the table.

After reviewing and assessing, decide how to resolve the match:

  • Flagged — select if the match is confirmed to be the same entity (action required)

  • Dismissed — select if the match is ruled out as a false positive (no further action needed)

Once you apply your decision, the match status will update in the table accordingly, and inside tracing and supply chain views.

If you have several matches for one company, and you flag one match, then the other matches cannot be flagged anymore and the status of these rows will change to “Not Applicable”

You’ve now learned how to navigate the Entity Screening feature, review screening results, and validate potential matches by flagging or dismissing them.
