Company Profiles Feature
Updated over a week ago

Background

Until now, profiles have been managed by suppliers and were not editable for brands. This led to several challenges such as supplier profiles containing no/limited data due to inactivity and brands being unable to use existing supplier data.

Key benefits of the company profile structure

Own Profile Version

Data can be overwritten or edited any time (e.g. if you have more up to date information from another source). If multiple values have been shared for the same data point, it is up to you to decide which value shall be recorded in your view of the supplier's profile. For example:

Number of employees

  • Supplier A indicates 350

  • Vendor V indicates 380

  • Your recent BSCI audit indicates 320

In this case, you could freely choose which value of those three shall be added to your own view of the supplier's profile. That way you are always in full control of what you want to share and what you want to see in any of your connected companies' profiles.

Additionally, the viewable profile history allows you to keep track of changes on any profile.

Collaborative Data Management

Brands can invite vendors and other partner companies to manage supplier profiles collaboratively, making data management much more efficient.

Data Control and Visibility

Every company will be able to decide, which data points they would like to share and which data they would like to keep private. This ensures that sensitive information remains secure. Based on that your suppliers will also need to define what they want to share with you. Once they shared data with you, you can decide if the shared data shall be added to your view of the supplier's profile.
