Responding to a questionnaire

Has your client invited you to a questionnaire and wants to either collect data about your own company or is requesting you to share data about another company? If yes, keep reading. This article guides you through the answering flow.


First things first

Please make sure whether the questionnaire is about your own company or about another company for which you are requested to complete the questionnaire for. For this, check the "About" column.



Accessing a questionnaire

There are three options:

  • E-mail notification: Click the "Begin Questionnaire" button in the notification E-mail.

  • In-platform notification: Click the "Begin" button in the active task list for the respective questionnaire notification.

  • Questionnaires tab: Go directly to the Questionnaire tab via the left navigation bar, access the "Requests" tab and click the "View" button of the respective questionnaire.


Status of a questionnaire

Each question acts as its own entity meaning that every question can be attempted separately. Once you click the submit button the answer goes into the review stage.

Notice the border of an assessment question. There are four colors that indicate the following:

  • Grey means "Undefined": Action required; provide an answer

  • Yellow means "In review": No action required; the assessing company will review your answers

  • Green means "Approved": No action required

  • Red means "Rejected": Action required; check the comment section of the question and act accordingly


Good to know

Comment Function

  • If your answer has been rejected, check the comments section of that question. Your client may have added a remark mentioning why the question has been rejected.

  • If a question is unclear to you, leave a comment for your client directly below the question and let them know.

Not Available Button

  • If you are unable to answer a question because it does not apply to your company, add a comment to explain why and click the "Not available" button.

Auto-filling with existing company data

  • If data in your company profile is provided, respective questions asked in the questionnaire will be automatically answered. That is why you may stumble across questions that are marked yellow when accessing the questionnaire for the first time.

  • In case, the data is outdated, feel free to change the answer and update it in your company profile as well.


Uploading a requested documents/certificates/audits

Find out below how to upload documents, certificates and audits in a questionnaire. Note that you can either upload a completely new or an existing document/certificate/audit.


Updating an answer

After submission, you may need to correct or want to update an answer. For this, simply click the "Change answer" button in the respective question. However, note that changing the answer is not possible anymore after it has been approved.
