What are the badges for?

Badges are awarded as end-consumer translations of all supply chain information, materials in a product, and good sustainable practices. Since a typical value creation is abstract, and there are countless certifications or memberships for consumers to understand, we have developed badges derived from existing information in collaboration with global leading sustainability agencies.


What badges can be claimed?

The badges give your end consumers insights into the social and environmental sustainability of your company. Companies can claim a series of badges by having actual legal proof, and there are 10 different badges to choose from.


What are the badge requirements?

Below, you will learn what these badges mean and the different requirements to claim them.

Important to know:

  • the below listed certificates automatically trigger badges once reviewed and approved by us. The badges will appear as long as the certificate is valid meaning it will get removed once it has expired.

  • Badges are triggered based on the certificates awarded to your own company and to your suppliers (that are part of the product map/traced supply chain).

1. Living Wage Data Available

Description:

Information on wages and living wage benchmarks is available for this facility. See details for scope, methodology, and supporting documentation.

How to claim this?

This badge is given out if the living wage and the minimum wage are provided as well as a payslip or similar matching document for the company.

  • Minimum wage: Helper on Production Floor / Sewing line Operator

  • Written living wage benchmark

  • Payslip of lowest paid worker

2. Working Conditions Audited

Description:

This product is produced in facilities certified under recognized labor standards. Certificate name, site scope, and validity dates are available.

How to claim this?

Description:

A part of the the materials used in this product are certified according to recognized standards (e.g. organic, recycled, or responsibly sourced). The scope and criteria vary by certification.
