You may want to specify important components (parts, materials, assemblies) required to manufacture your final product.
How to create a component?
Click on the 'Components' tab in the navigation bar on the left.
Click on the '+ Create component' icon.
The page will show you two options to create a new component. Choose the first option and insert the component name in the respective field.
Choose the product level from the drop-down menu.
Choose the product type from the drop-down menu.
Then click on the '+ Create component' button.
Now that the component has been created, you can add further component specific information such as description, weight, and material composition all via the 'Edit' pencil icon! Don't forget to click the 'Save & Return' button to save your changes.
