How to connect to another supplier/client profile?
It is possible that the companies you are working with and that you would like to add to your network already exist on our platform. To connect to existing companies, the first step is to search for them by following those steps:
Access the 'Network' tab via the left side navigation bar.
In the 'My Network' tab, click '+ Add'.
Enter the company name and click on 'Search' to identify if the profile already exists on the platform. Please make sure you're searching for the full official company name first and then try out an acronym or abbreviation.
Go through all the pages of potential matches with your search. If found in the list, hover over 'Connect' and define whether the company is your client or your supplier.
Click once more on 'Connect', and if successful a green message box will appear with the message 'Company has been linked'.
What to do if you can’t find the required company?
If you didn't find the company you are searching for, you will need to create a new company profile by following these steps:
Scroll down below the list of existing companies and click on 'Couldn't find the company you're looking for?' to create a new company profile for them.
Ensure you have input the exact official name, as well as their facility processes (as many as apply) and the country they are located in. Then, select whether they are a supplier or client of yours. Click on the 'Create' button.
Don't forget to invite users to this new profile. Find out how here: Inviting new users.
How to unlink from another company/supplier profile?
If you want to withdraw a company from your network, you can unlink them. To do so, follow those steps:
Select the company under the 'Network' tab. Click on the company that you would like to remove from your network.
Click on 'Unlink' in the right bottom corner in the company header box.
Lastly, click "Confirm".
Keep in mind that unlinking a company from your network is removing the company from your network view, but not from your business partner's.
