What is a Supplier Assessment?🤔
A Supplier Assessment on retraced allows brands to get to know your company and your facility. Through supplier assessments, brands will be asking you questions, regarding your processes, certifications, Audits, etc. This will also automatically populate you profile, hence it is suggested to start your retraced journey by answering the supplier assessments.
If you have been asked to answer an assessment, either by having received an email notification from us or a direct request from your client, here is a step-by-step guide:
Answer a supplier assessment
- Go to the ‘Assessments’ tab in the navigation bar.
- Click on ‘Assessments to answer’ to see those requested by your clients.
- Click either directly on the assessment’s name, or on the button next to the progress bar (either ‘Begin’, ‘Continue’, or ‘Update’, depending on the assessment status).
- Each question on the assessment tab acts as its own entity. That means every question can be attempted separately. It saves automatically where you leave it. Once you click submit the answer goes in to review stage. Notice the border of an assessment question. These are four colors that indicate the following:
❔Grey: Undefined or unattempted
⭐Yellow: In review
✅Green: Approved
🔴Red: Rejected
🔴 Note: If the question is rejected, check the comments section of the question, if your client has added a remark mentioning why the question is rejected.
- You will find each question with the Button 'Change Answer' - Click on it. Complete the questions and click the ‘Submit’ button when they are ready. In case you do not have an answer click on 'Not Available'
👉 Some questions may already be filled out based on the information available on your profile. You can either change the answer here, or leave it if it’s correct.
The information uploaded to these assessments also automatically updates your profile. For example, if a question asks for a signed code of conduct, it will appear under the your company’s documents after being uploaded. Learn more here
❓If a question is unclear, you can leave a comment directly below the ‘Submit’ button to the assessment creator.
