Create an assessment from a template and vice versa

Would you like to save some time when creating a new assessment or don't want to create an assessment fully from scratch? We got you! Learn how to pull a template from an ongoing assessment and the other round.

How to use a template for an assessment?

Part 1: First, create a template

  1. Go into the 'Assessments' tab in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'Template' tab to create a template first.

  3. Click on the '+' icon (='Create template').

  4. Give the template a name of your choice and click 'Save the template'.

  5. You can select from a variety of template questions that the retraced team has provided for you, or write up your own by clicking on Custom. Here you can choose the type of question and set the relative fields.

  6. Once done, click on 'Save as template'.

NOTE: When creating custom questions, you can determine the answer type: file upload, multiple choice, yes/no, number input, etc.

TIP: Inside the questions you can also set up document management and certification dependencies so that the assessed company can upload their documents/certifications

Part 2: Then, select a template for an assessment

  1. Go into the 'Assessments' tab in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'My assessments of companies' tab.

  3. Click on the '+' icon (='Create assessment').

  4. Click on 'Select from your templates' and choose the respective template which you would like to use as an assessment.

  5. Finish by clicking on 'Create'!

How to create a template from an (ongoing) assessment?

  1. Go into the 'Assessments' tab in the left navigation bar.

  2. Click on the 'My assessments of companies' tab.

  3. For the respective assessment, under the 'Actions' column, click on the 'Paper' icon (='Create template').

  4. Confirm by clicking on 'Create Template'.
